A 30-Hour Training & Lisa Fraipont & Sarah Isabel Schwarz
November 12–15, 2026
Some trainings teach information.
This training teaches orientation.
Together, Lisa and Sarah bring their unique methodologies into one immersive experience that blends Katonah Yoga®, movement education, breathwork, body reading, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and practical tools for everyday life.
Over four days, you will learn how to better understand the patterns that shape your body, mind, and behavior—and how to work with them intelligently.
This is not about fixing yourself.
It is about learning to read yourself.
Understanding where you are.
Recognizing what supports you.
And developing tools that create meaningful change.
Body.
Breath.
Pattern.
Perspective.
Body. Breath. Pattern. Perspective.
WHAT MAKES THIS TRAINING DIFFERENT?
Most people know what they should do.
Few people know how to do it consistently.
The Toolbox bridges that gap.
____________________________________________________________________
Through movement, breath, observation, philosophy, and practical application, you'll learn how to:
• Recognize physical and psychological patterns
• Regulate your nervous system
• Understand the relationship between structure and function
• Work with the Five Elements as a map for life
• Use breath as a tool for resilience
• Develop greater agency during times of change
• Build a personal toolbox you can use on and off the mat
THE FOUR PILLARS
Structure: The Magic Square & The Art of Orientation
The Magic Square is one of the foundational maps in Katonah Yoga. Through numbers, directions, and spatial awareness, we explore how to orient ourselves within our own bodily territory and our lives.
Perspective: Props as Teachers Chairs, Poles & al
Props are not merely supports but teaching tools that reveal structure, create feedback and offer opportunities for self-adjustment.
We will investigate how chairs, poles, blocks, blankets and straps can create clarity, stability and intelligence within the body.
Pattern: Body Reading & The Five Elements
The body tells a story. Through observation and pattern recognition we learn how to get curious with the body, identify our strengths and habits. Body reading allows us to apply the theory and weave in metaphors and images as we organise the body in a new way.
Combined with the Five Element Theory and Five Movements, you will explore energetic and structural patterns that influence both the personal and the universal through our own practice and our teaching.
Breath: Pranayama, Restorative Practice & Meditation
The final day explores practices that cultivate receptivity, recovery and perspective.
Through restorative setups pranayama and meditation techniques, participants will learn how to create practices that regulate the nervous system and encourage deeper internal organization.

Our Team
Lisa Fraipont
Lisa is a yoga teacher from Brussels.
She's been practicing Hatha Yoga since 2010 and did her first teacher training with Barath Shetty in Mysore India in 2015.
Since then she's been continually training (in restorative, prenatal and more).
After her masters in Environmental management she worked in that field for a few years and one thing leading to another decided to teach yoga full time.
She found Katonah yoga®️, through Dages Juvelier Keates in 2018 and keep following her around everywhere for a few years all over Europe( ;) thanks D.) until she went to New York to get certified and meet Katonah's founder Nevine Michaan.
Her classes are a blend of all the influences - mostly hatha yoga with Katonah Yoga breathing techniques and theory and some added techniques that sh picked up over the years.
She'll be happy to welcome you in one of her group class in Brussels - for a public or a private class at Shanti Home - for a retreat or a training somewhere special.
Sarah Isabel
I’m Sarah — a Katonah Yoga® teacher who believes your contradictions are your superpower: strength & softness, ambition & rest, structure & creativity. We are not either/or — we are both/and.
I’ve been building my inner toolbox since I was nine — learning how to feel strong in my body & mind, steady in uncertain times, and open to my own potential. Back then, Yoga wasn’t a lifestyle — it was survival. Later, during university, in the chaos of working two jobs and building a life on my own, Yoga became direction, grounding, and a system that made sense when life didn’t.
